The application for Special Concentrations is comprised of several components. In addition to requesting basic information about your proposal, The Student and Concentration Proposal Information document includes a checklist of all application requirements. Please consult that document regularly as you collect your materials, to ensure that your application is complete. Please save all documents with the title: "Last Name, First Name, SC Application."
By 5 p.m. on the deadline date, please be sure to submit the following documents:
- Student and Concentration Proposal Information
- Your Most Recent Grade Transcript
- Statement of Purpose
- Course Plans
- Statement of Prospective Faculty Adviser
- Statement of Resident Dean, Freshman Adviser, or Designee
- Statement from Department Most Closely Related
- Statement of Prospective Tutor
These last four documents may be sent directly to Special Concentrations by their authors, but it is your responsibility to ensure that they are submitted by the deadline. Application materials may be delivered to Special Concentrations, Office of Undergraduate Education, University Hall 127 (hard copy) or submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Submitting a hard copy in addition to or instead of electronic will ensure that no technological issues compromise the deadline for you. This is a hard deadline; there are no extensions.
